Meteor Shower

I think we have entered a new realm of crazy. The parents of AJ's kindergarten class now are questioning our sanity. And most of them don't even know about the 4 other kids.

AJ's birthday party was yesterday. He wanted to invite his entire class. We couldn't come up with a good reason to say no. AJ helped plan the "Outer Space" party and go shopping for everything. During sharing time at school, he told everyone that his dad was going to throw candy off the roof of our house during his party. He had left out the details, but the plan was to have a "meteor shower" coming from the roof instead of doing a pinata. We wrapped up all of the candy individually in aluminum foil and it came down from the "sky." Al even wore a special foil alien hat.

At the end of the party as the parents started arriving, 6 parents asked us if AJ's dad really had thrown candy from the roof. Apparently, information like that travels at light speed.
