It certainly wasn't my smartest idea to go into a Verizon store after my kids had already been doing errands for a while. I thought that last week's puking escapade outside Verizon was hard enough, but unfortunately the problem with my phone still wasn't fixed. So we stopped by. While we were waiting to be helped, I again didn't help myself when I thought it was a good idea to get the kids to sit on benches by pretending there were alligators on the floor, hey it helped while we were waiting. But then it our turn. While I was arguing with the agent if my phone was still under warranty, my kids decided it was game time.
Alligator Game: Aly and Caleb decided to be the alligators. They were wrestling on the floor trying to bite each other.
Scavenger Hunt: Abby had hidden her shoe somewhere in the store and thought the best way to look for it was to grab every model phone and take it off its pedestal.
Should I Barf or Just Be Mean Game: AJ was trading off between threatening to be sick (just because he knows it gets to me) and walking around kicking his siblings just for the fun of it.
Barefoot Game: Jake was seeing how many times he could get off his shoes and socks and his mom would continue to put them back on. The shoes lasted 9 times before I gave up and the socks lasted 16.
Pick Up Sticks: Abby, Caleb, and Jake all took time to see how many phone chargers they could get off the rack before Mom noticed. They seemed to enjoy watching me put them back.
Tag: The official moment that the kids won was when they began chasing each other around the store yelling TAG, TAG, TAG. Though I have become good at multitasking, I can only run in one direction at a time. It was the icing on the cake for the 7 businessmen that were already upset that their phones weren't working.
Is it any surprise that the agent finally said, "I think the best way to know that we fixed your phone is just to send you a new one."

My phone is acting up. Can I borrow your kids =)
At least you are getting your exercise at the same time as running your errands!!
My kids favorite game is "Who can sing the loudest?" I imagine your kids would rock the house.
I'm so happy to be peeking on you in the blogging world! What's most impressive about this post is that you probably typed it in less than 5 minutes, because who can spare the time??? Well done, Lisa. You continue to impress and entertain me.
