Introducing Molly Lindy Burns

Thursday, July 12th was a scrapbook day for our family. Lindy Jo Greenbush became Molly Lindy Burns and an official memeber of our clan. It is hard to describe (unless you have adopted a child) the feeling of the moment the judge tells you that this is YOUR little girl.

There was a space that was left in ours heart between the precious child in our home that we loved but didn't belong to us. That moment with the judge changed all that.

Molly has been staying with us since last September when Abby's biological mom called and asked if Molly's two week visit with us could be permanent. We admire their biological mom so much for realizing that she could not provide the life that Molly needed and choosing for two sisters to be able to spend their life together.

Although, Abby and Molly had only met once for about an hour previous to Molly coming to Texas with us, there is an indescribable bond between the two girls that is undeniable that they were suppose to be together.

Molly has been such a blessing to our family. She is so sweet and content with life. She is always ready for a good time. She has seamlessly fit right into of family. She has also added to the mystery of my birthing records in Nebraska. According to the state of Nebraska I had a child born in 2004, then in 2005 two children born two months apart, in 2005 yet another child, and one more in 2008. Each time an adoption is finalized, the birth certificate is recreated showing the adoptive mom as giving birth.

As crazy as our live is, I love it! I never would have guessed 10 years ago that I would have four girls, three would be adopted, and that whether they are adopted or biological that they would all feel equally like MY GIRLS!
