As we headed into
Wal-Mart (the place to be in our small town) on Saturday, I noticed that our family stood out more than usual, if that is possible. A cold front had hit Texas with
temperatures hovering in the high 60's. While the Texans were bundled up, some even in heavy winter coats, my kids were wearing shorts and t-shirts. Our family was just relieved to walk around without sweating.

It is not as hot here in Portland but we face similar issues. Our kids are in jackets and other people put their kids in winter coats and scarves that cover everything except their eyes. They also didn't do very well in 90 degree weather this summer.
That is so funny. Are you liking it there? How is it having 6 kids; I can't believe when I met you a few years ago you just had AJ :)
That reminds me of my parents, they moved up to WI after being in AZ for 8 years...and they still think they're in AZ! It's in the 40's here and they're still wearing shorts and t-shirts!! :)
