Thump, Thump

Late last night, I was driving down an unfamiliar road. Paying more attention to the surroundings than the road itself, I found myself upon a huge burlap sack in the middle of road. With no time to switch lanes, I opted to just plow through. For the next three blocks I had to convince myself over and over again that it was just an empty burlap sack. There wasn't anything inside, especially a body. It was just a little thump and something that big would make big thumps. I think I have been watching to many TV dramas.
