Politics in Ohio is awesome! Both democratic nominees were less than a mile from my house on Sunday for town hall meetings. I love living in a state that gets national coverage for its primary election.
My polling place is literally in my backyard. Al was on call at the hospital last night. My mom's stance on voting is as tough as my dad's stance on dental hygiene. Hence, I brush my teeth at least twice a day and vote whenever possible. So, the troops and I were headed over to vote together. I had to explain several times that we were not going fishing on the boat, but to the church to vote.
Not only was I the only person there with five kids, my kids were the only kids in the room. Luck was on our side. The lines weren't bad, they found us a booth with plenty of space, and the kids thought the bribe of Skittles at home was enough to act nice. I think I overcommitted as they may of been happy with just the "I Voted Today" stickers.

Your place had stickers?! I went with Addie and promised her a sticker (we also had the boat problem, LOL). We finished and she wanted her sticker, but our district is too cheap and they didn't have them. The whole way home she was crying, "go find vote! Go find vote!"
San Antonio, yay!! What is drawing you guys down here?
