Cookie Coasters

Al, trying to spend some quality time with the kids, attempted to make cookies with the bunch last night. He does fairly well in the kitchen, but cookies are not his forte. Cooking in the kitchen at our house presents a challenge as all 5 kids want to be "help" and demand to taste everything. The situation was slightly more complicated as Al was trying to half the recipe. The result was cookies that were so flat they could have passed for coasters had it not been the grease trail they left behind. After ten minutes of of interrogation by Inspector Lisa it was discovered that Al had substituted some vegetable oil for the Crisco the recipe called for. We can pass the new recipe along if anyone needs some extra coasters.
